Speaking to the Club, Byron explained a little about the competition commenting “you do like a qualifier to get into a team of 8 this year it was at Witton. Colleges usually know all about them because it’s like the national games for them then after you qualify for the northwest which is all the colleges in northwest you travel to the games where ever they are and stay over and race the next day against all the other teams and there are individual for like 1-2-3 places and then a team of six medals 1-2-3 it’s one of the best weekends I have had”.
