Ben Fish won his latest Road Race on the very hilly Ashbourne Half-Marathon at the weekend. Running it as part of his preparation for the forthcoming Nottingham Marathon. Ben was pleased with his race and commented “ I was very happy with my run. I felt really strong on tough climbs in the first 7 miles. I was clear 5 mins into the race. Should be good prep for Nottingham marathon in 2 weeks.”
Ben’s winning time of 70.45 is the fastest time of the last six years and since the Race began it appears from the published results that no one has previously broken 71 minutes.
