Following a prolonged period of injury with ankle problems, and after posting a really good 30.47 fifth placed clocking at the Bristol 10k recently, Ben Fish turned his attention back to the 26.2 mile distance when he competed in the Liverpool Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon on Sunday May 25th.

Ben finished first in a time of 2.25.19 and commented afterwards that the  “race went fairly smoothly. Though I was mis-directed in the first mile. I wasn’t too bothered as it only cost me 45 secs. The course was tough between 15 -19 miles. Calf trouble at 23 miles. Overall I was happy with the run, I know I can run quicker in better circumstances. The event had a great carnival atmosphere”.
