The first Fixture in the Sportshall Season took place on Sunday and the Harriers got off to a great start with 33 youngsters all competing for the Club and securing Team and Individual wins.

Team Manager Alison Hulme was really pleased with the performance of the Club on the day telling us that “in the Team Competition the Harriers came 3rd overall, winning the U11 Girls, 4th in the U11 Boys, and 2nd in the U13 Girls”
A fantastic performance by Eleesha Charnley who competed in the Red Rose Cross Country League at Chorley on Saturday – ( as did Leah Hoole) – and went on to be named the U11 Athlete of the Match as well as Charlotte Williams who was joint U13 Athlete of the Match. The U13G relay team was second – thanks Myah!
And Alison had a big “Thank-you to all the adults who provided transport & encouraged the athletes today and a special thank-you to Mick Angland, Nikki Charnley, Sam Boocock & Sam Carroll, who ran the long jump events, and also to Nikki & Ben Armstrong who helped with the relays & team management”.
