In 26th place (30.25) was the  ever improving David Almond who has returned to competitive running this year and was delighted with his run telling us that Pleased with my run. Improved my PB by a minute from last month”. Pleased to have done 10 out of 13 races therefore counting for series coming 7th overall (not bad for an old git) and getting age category. Some good runs with best at Hendon Brook Half being dragged round by John Sutton and some fine sprint finishes with MIck Toms, never got close enough to see Andy Buttery! A great series of races from May to August on various terrain and distances which can recommend to others”
