Eleven Mens Teams and 102 Athletes lined up for this years Isle of Man Easter Festival of Running. Amongst them was Blackburn Harriers Karl Billington. The Festival consists of three Races – a Road Race on Friday – a Hill Race on Saturday and a 4 x 5k Road Relay on the Sunday.
Karl had a really good weekend finishing 6th in the 10k Road Race (32:15); 5th in the Hill Race (22:34) and ran the joint fastest time in the Relay (15:14) in which his Team, St Mary’s finished 3rd. A fine performance overall finishing 3rd in the Individual overall standings with a total of 13 points.
