V40  Conrad placed 29th overall in a time of 78.51 and said that he Started the race quite a bit back as I couldn’t get near the front. Saw Ben Fish along the way, (he was 2 miles in front of me at the loop) but overall the race was very fast and was also well organised. My leg held up, so I was very pleased to finish and get a good time”.

Andy Buttery was a bit unfortunate as an accident on motorway meant he missed the start and told us that he “had to join the back of the race, but it was chip timing anyway. Clocked 16.34 (75th), so think with a warm up etc I would have been under my target of 16.30 as I felt strong”
