Shaun Livesey came 7th overall in a very good time of 56.24, just 23 seconds off his PB which in the conditions points to PB form. After the Race Shaun commented “In a reversal of weather conditions compared to Preston 3 weeks ago, conditions were tough going out. From the gun I was in a good group that formed, the pace was really comfortable as we all tried to shield ourselves from the wind. just after 4 mile the group started to fracture as the pace increased due to us running down wind, I was unable to go with it and was left in no man’s land. However I kept reasonably strong in to the finish”. Pleased with my time in those conditions 56:24″.

Samantha McCreadie finished in 52nd place with a time of 66.41 and just a minute outside of her 10 mile PB. Again given the conditions Sam looks to be knocking on the door for another revision of her best time over this distance. V50 David Morris placed 306th in 1.36,51.
