SPRINTS

U20 Claudio Enofomi had a pretty good day in only his second outing for the Club. Having clocked 12.15 for 100m at Trafford on July 6th he made mincement out of that as he won the Senior 100m in a new PB time of 11.4 before going on to run 23.9 in 2nd place in the Senior 200m race. In the U15 Boys 100m, three Blackburn Harriers – Harrison James, Jacob Fisher and Harrison Allcock lined up running 12.2 (3rd), 12.2 (4th) and 12.8 (7th) respectively, with some doubt about the time and position of Harrison Allcock as he appeared to place 5th on the photos. Harrison James set a new PB by two tenths and Jacob set a new PB by three tenths. On to the 200m races with Harrison James and Jacob Fisher finishing 2nd (25.4) and 3rd (25.6) respectively – Harrison setting a new PB by three tenths and Jacob also setting a new PB by over half a second. Heat 2 of the U15 Boys 200m saw Ben Livesey taking the win in a time of 26.6 from Preston’s Thomas Kelsall. U13 George Camara is competing very well and continued his good vein of form by winning Heat 1 of the 100m in 13.6 – a new PB by two tenths before going on to make it a sprint double as he won the 200m in 28.7.

U17 Kate Cookson clocked a time of 46.0 in the 300m. U15 Alisha Lehner also set a new PB by a tenth as she clocked 14.3 in 2nd place in her Heat of the 100m.
