Sunday September 15th saw Holly Bradshaw competing in her fourth Pole Vault competition in the last four which which has seen her take wins in the first three as she approached her fourth competition out of five she had planned to do. Winning in Italy and then in Germany twice, Holly was in Dusseldorf for the Flight Circus (RESULTS). With seven pole vaulters in the competition, Holly once again came out on top with the win, clearing 4.52m. These street meetings are amazingly popular in Europe, often attracting huge crowds in some cases. Interestingly a Ukrainian athlete spoke to Holly at the competition and said how amazing it is she gets to compete with her, as Olympic medalists only usually do diamond leagues. This says a lot about Holly and her attitdue to the sport, even as she approaches the end of her career she still believes it is important to popularise the event in settings like this as she has always done. One more competition to go.
