Ben Fish who had raced at the Lancashire Cross Country Championships the week before, going over on his ankle a couple of times was keen to run in this Race as it was one he had targeted. In the end Ben had a really good run finishing 2nd in a time of 67.55 to Michael Kallenberg who won it in 67.06. After the Race Ben told the Club “Obviously I wasn’t happy with my run last week, but today felt like business as usual! Certainly a big improvement from the Lancs XC. Kallenberg got away after 10 miles, it was fairly close up to then”.
