Blackburn Harriers Sportshall takes place at Witton Park Arena every week on Monday evenings, split into two sessions from 6.00 – 7.00pm and 7.00 – 8.00pm. The youngsters that attend these sessions learn to run, jump and throw as part of their development in progressing to event groups at a later stage. The fundamentals of Agility, Coordination and Balance that they learn whilst having fun are crucial in that development. During the Winter, they engage in competition – three competitions in total. From these competitions which include athletic clubs and schools, a number of the young athletes win selection to represent their Lancashire County at the Regional Final. The 2025 Regional Sportshall Finals are being held at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday February 9th.
