Blackburn Narriers David Holman has run a couple of races since being back home for the summer, the first of which was in Birmingham on June 7th where he clocked 3.40. 72 in the 1500m. He followed that up with a trip to Portugal on Saturday June 14th winning the 1500m race in Braga and posting a time of 3.41.58, maintaining a very consistent run of form. Following the race, David spoke to the Club about it saying he “Went to Portugal to try and run the U23 euro standard. Unfortunately the pacer went through 800 too slow and didn’t do any favours, but nice to get a win on the European stage against some top athletes. All great experience for the future.”
