Tom Cornthwaite who competes for Blackburn Harriers on the Track –  took to the Roads and Fell in his last three races and in each race he ran a record time which was a tremendous performance.

On June 8th Tom ran the Weets Fell Race for Northumberland Fell Runners in a new record time of 37.14, a record which stands on the new course established in 2003 –  Results HERE:

The day after, running for Salford, he contested the final Leg 20 of the Welsh Castles Relay winning it in a time of 55: 34 which was a full three minutes inside the old record set by Stuart Robinson of Blackpool in 2010 –  Results HERE:

And then at the Hendon Brook, a race slightly longer than Half-Marathon distance, he won that in another record time of 75.29 – Results HERE: Another Track Runner for Blackburn Harriers – Matt Lalor – also ran in the Hendon brook Race taking an excellent 3rd place in 85:09.
