Congratulations to Blackburn Harriers Junior Woman Isabel Holt who has been selected to run for England at the Home Countires International which takes place at Temple Newsam in Leeds on Saturday February 8th. This selection follows her 3rd place for England in Elgoibar, Spain recently – January 5th – at the International Cross Country race held there. This is a great start to the year for Isabel who had a very good 2024 posting personal bests at 1500m, 3000m, 5000m and 5k. Following her selection, Isabel told the Club that she was “really grateful and excited for another experience to represent England at the Home nations in Leeds. It will be nice racing locally and I’m excited to give it my all“.
