Having contested the Red Rose League Cross Country League this year, winning three Gold and four Silver Team and Individual Medals, the Harriers came away with five Gold, two Silver and two Bronze Team and Individual Medals in the Mid Lancs Cross Country League. Added to those were a number of good performances which were just outside the Medal places.
Contesting two Cross Country Leagues as well as all the Championships is a big ask so a particular well done to all those athletes who won medals and to all those who competed for the Club during the year – a season which produced 8 Gold, 6 Silver and 2 Bronze Individual and Team Medals in the Leagues as well as 2 Gold and 1 Silver Individual Medal in the Lancashire Schools Championships and 5 Gold, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals in the Lancashire County Championships and topped off with a Bronze in the Northern Championships for Liz Greenwood.
