Matt Ramsden has been selected to compete for England in the 10k at the Trofeo Opitergium Road Races in Oderzo, Italy on 17 September.
Matt has had a very good season setting personal bests at 800m (1.54.43), 1500 (3.51.7), 3000m (8.21.16), 5000m (14.18.97). In his track races this year – 21 in total, he has posted 15 wins and 3 second places and was part of the Blackburn Harriers team that won the Northern Premiership Track & Field title at Doncaster on August 27th. During the year, Matt won the County Championships (3000m), Northern Championships (U20 3000m) and the Northern Indoors 3000m Championships as well as the BMC 5000m at Sportcity.
