English School Cross Country Championships

Think everyone has had enough of the mud, wind and rain this year and the English Schools Championships seemed to round the season off with more of the same!! Nevertheless a number of the Harriers were competing and did really well given the conditions and the standard of ability within the fields. Grace Handley came home in 27th place in the Junior Girls Race (11:40); Liz Greenwood was 40th (11:55) and Jack Hindle came in in 171st place (22:07) in the Inter Boys Race.

Missed but not forgotten!!

Missed out on our last round up of Results were runs for Sarah Ridehalgh who competes as 2nd Claim for Blackburn on the Track. Sarah ran the Trafford 10k finishing 183rd in 38:18 and was 3rd V35 overall. Gary Pearse tackled the Stan Bradshaw Pendle Round Race on 9th March and had a fine race finishing 24th (79:50) out of a field of 199 runners.
