Well done to Blackburn Harriers Myles Fraser who competed on Sunday in Spain for Englands U20 team at the Elgoibar Cross County International. Myles came home in 8th place overall with a time of 18.33 – the England team getting all four counters home in the first eight places. Following the Race, Myles spoke to the Club about the event, telling us “Racing at Elgoibar was a great experience, the race itself was backed by a lot of Spanish culture which I got the opportunity to witness. In the race itself I enjoyed the challenging course and a top 10 finish competing against some of the best u20s from some European countries gives me confidence ahead of some big domestic races coming up. Thankyou to England athletics for the selection and my coach Andy for getting me into a position to race competitively internationally“.
