Andy Buttery had a cracking run in 22nd place (15:45) which was just 6 sec outside his 5k PB. This run has lifted Andy to 6th in National V40 Rankings. After a storming 4:30.20 1500m at the Northern League recently which has him 11th in the National V40 Rankings, Andy looks in really good form.

Chris Barnes also ran his PB very close missing out by just 9 seconds, finishing 54th (16:51) and after upping his training under the watchful eye of George Woodburn he looks set to attack his times in the months ahead. Here he is, just tucked into the pack and tracking Andy Buttery.

The third Harrier on the night had a big PB – Shelley Tattersall knocked 36 seconds of her best time which was set in 2012, with a great run (19:50) and is good reward for solid and consistent training.
