U17 Ethan Cutler was the next Harrier to take on the 800m and again in a mixed age group race – Ethan stayed in contention and got boxed with 200m to go and had to come out wide to make headway, coming with a really quick last 50m to set himself a new PB of 2.08.88. Moving up in distance to the 1500m, which had U17 Sam Aspey in race 3 featuring eleven athletes – Sam was with the front runners the whole way and gave it everything in the home straight to set himself a massive new PB by six seconds – 4.10.95 in 3rd spot. Last Blackburn Harrier on the track – around 9.00pm – was U17 Henry Ward who was determined to say close to the front the whole three and three quarter laps and it paid off for him taking the win with a toughed out finish in a time of 4.23.69.

In the Throws V60 Tony Balko and new member – U17 Lincoln Briggs – took on the Discus and Shot Putt.
