Ben Fish was back in action in the Bristol 10k on Sunday May 11th after a long period of trying to deal with an ankle problem. Unusually for Ben he has only raced five times so far this year because of the problem and had to stop his cross country season as a result. But he seems to have come back with a bang. In a very good race, in not ideal conditions, and with the first ten all in under 31 minutes with just 35 seconds between first and tenth position Ben commented that he  was happy with that. I went into the race without a time in mind, focusing on being competitive. A strange race, very windy, I even lead around halfway which was unexpected. 30:47 and 5th in a high quality race is ok after not racing for two months”
