Remembering Blackburn Harrier Joe Fleming
 
Due to the current Covid restrictions that are still in place, a private family service will be held on Thursday 15th April 2021 at St Mary’s Church, Langho, at 11AM. Following this a burial at Pleasington Cemetery. Friends of Joe who wish to pay their respects but are not one of the 30 allowed in Church, are welcome to stand on the church car park socially distancing and to also attend the burial at a distance.

Clap To Remember Joe.
Because of the Covid restrictions on attending funerals Blackburn Harriers will remember Joe on the same evening –Thursday April 15th — by inviting all athletes & Coaches who are on the Track at Witton Park Arena to stop to clap the memory of Joe Fleming – a long time High Jump Coach for Blackburn Harriers & AC.
 
All athletes and Coaches will be socially distanced on the Track and the Clap To Remember Joe will be started by a whistle at 7.10pm by the Clubs Sprint Coach – Caerwen Butler – who Joe Coached during her competitive career with Blackburn Harriers.
 
Blackburn Harriers members and supporters who want to join in can do so, as long as they are socially distanced outside the Track perimeter fencing.
