The Ribble Valley 10k incorporating the North of England 10k Championships was won today in impressive fashion by Jonny Mellor. Taking victory in 29.12, Mellor jumped to the top of the UK rankings for 2013 ahead of double World & Olympic Champion Mo Farah.
Mellor, the 2011 champion, lined up again alongside an impressive 10k field, which also featured GB Olympian Nick McCormick and the formidable Hawkins brothers, Callum & Derek.
