Sophie is continuing her season with real consistency. At Halle in Germany last weekend – May 25th Sophie was up against some of the top Hammer Throwers in the world, including the winner of this event, Betty Heidler of Germany who threw 74.92m.

The consistency of Sophie’s throwing is one of the hallmarks of her ability and achievements. Her series of six throws consisted of 67.86m; 70.44m; 68.97m; x; 71.16m and 69.96m, all of which gave her 4th place and a season’s best.
