To all of our Coaches, Officials, Club Officers, Team Managers and Volunteers, for their continued selfless part they play in the story that is Blackburn Harriers & AC – and – the commitment you have shown to your athletes, your squads and teams, to running fixtures and ensuring the Club meets all of its commitment which has been and is exemplary;
To all of our athletes from our Sportshall Squad, UKYDL Squads (Upper and Lower Age Groups), our Senior Track & Field Squads, Fell and Cross Country Squads, Cross Country and Road Relay Squads, Team Captains and Team Managers who have once again had a very good year winning Track & Field Individual and Team Titles at Junior and Senior Level alongside Individual and Team Titles in Cross Country;
To all those in the world of Athletics, the fearless ones – and you know who you are – who have the grass roots of the future of the sport as their abiding priority and interest, – and – to Northern Athletics, the staff and Board Members, nothing but praise for the action they took in preserving Area Competition and putting in place a structure that is designed to protect the basic integrity and governance of the future of our sport in the North as well as pointing others to a direction they may well consider;
