Gordan Ballantyne competes in the Modern Pentathlon as well as running 1500 and 3000m on the trackas well as cross country. Last weekend saw him competing in his First National Ranking tournament alongside a few athletes from Paris and Tokyo Olympics in the competition. After a nervy start on Saturday, he again relied on his running and shooting to qualify for today’s final. With qualification on the line for next years European and World Championships Gordon had a great day finishing up first UK U19 and 10th overall. Gordon will take a short break before the next National Ranking in January.
