The second fixture of the YDL Lower Age Group was held at Trafford on May 31st with Blackburn finishing in sixth position. The absence of a number of athletes on the day cost the Team, but there were still some very good performances, personal bests and great team spirit as was evidenced by many of the athletes competing in events for the first time. This season will be a big learning curve for many of these young athletes and they will all be the better for it next year.
