Karl Billington, Rob Warner, Tim Raynes and Chris Davies made up the Club’s Senior squad in a field of 149 Teams competing on the day. We finished a reasonably solid 43rd in a combined time of 68.49.15. Karl took Leg 1 in a time of 17.01 (77th). Next on was Rob who pulled us back to 49th in a time of 16.52 and with another 17.01 run Tim took us back to 41st. Chris ran Leg 4 in 17.54 to leave us in 43rd overall.
Unfortunately we didn’t have a full Team for the Senior Women’s Race due to last minute withdrawals which left Alison Leonard on Leg 1 with Lindsay Davies on Leg 2. Alison had a really good run coming in 12th overall on the first Leg in a great time of 9.57.05 which was actually faster than a number of Senior Women whose Teams finished in the top ten on the day. Lindsay came in with a time of 16.22 and all credit to her for having a go.
Sixty six Teams lined up in the U13 Girls Race which saw the Harriers finish in a very good 27th spot. Amy Davies had a very good run on Leg 1 coming in 21st in a time of 7.47. Eleesha Charnley ran Leg 2 finishing in 25th place in a time of 8.32 and Jess Watson held on to 27th spot with a time of 8.44.
