It was great weather for the final fixture of Division One in the Northern League at Wakefield on Saturday August 8th which concluded with just 28.5 Match Points separating the first four Teams. The Harriers went into the fixture with high hopes of a runners up position and even with chances of winning the title, but the closeness of the Teams as the day went on meant it wasn’t an easy task. At one stage, just 2.5 points separated the first four Teams.

Overall for the season the Harriers finished 3rd on the same League Points (16) as the runners up Hull who had an advantage of 32.5 Match Points. Congratulations to Wakefield who defended the title that they won last year.
